If the Microsoft Word template does not work with your Mac, try using Avery Design & Print Online at www.avery.com/print. No software download required and is compatible with Mac operating systems.

Question

How do I open the template I downloaded? It asks for my computer number and I don't know it.

I want to use my Avery labels 5263 and 5260 to label my plastic containers of embroidery threads and items.
I need to type a different thing on each label so I need the form on my word program to type.
I'm 86 years old so I do need your help.THANKS so much!

I'd suggest you use Avery Design & Print Online at www.avery.com/print. Type in the label number, then pick a design and the Quick and Simple way to fill the labels. Formatting and printing individual or multiple labels can be done by using the downloadable templates at www.Avery.com/Templates and Avery design software at www.Avery.com/Software. When using the Word templates, select "Single label" option and format the desired amount of labels. In Avery Wizard, after selecting the template and orientation, choose 'Type many different entries on a sheet'. If on Avery Design & Print Online select the 'Enhanced Editing' option to create individual labels. Reminder, if you select a pre-designed template, delete the formatting on unused labels.

To open a project saved through Avery Design & Print Online, use the 'Open a Saved Project' link and browse through to find the .avery file. The project should be saved to your Downloads folder in My Documents. If you used a Word or downloadable template use the search function on your computer and search by the saved file name. If this will be a file that you will be using frequently you may want to consider saving it to the Desktop for easy accessibility.

Question

I downloaded label template 74651 but when using it, Word interprets as 'letter' not 'label' so it doesn't replicate to all labels

Is there a problem with the template? Or what are specifications for Label 74651 and I will create a custom label myself. Thank you.

How to save a template

Is it possible to reuse a template without having to select the fields from the excel file every time I'm printing labels.?
I print labels in a daily basis and will save me a lot of time if I can just select a template.
There is a quick access bar but it is grayout...I though I could save it but can not find how.

A formatted template can be saved as a regular file. If the project was created through Avery Design & Print Online select the save feature at the end of the project and it will be saved to the Downloads folder in you’re My Documents.
