Wal-Mart sells them for both dark & light tee shirts. They are in the office supply section with the shipping labels. You can sometimes find them at Staples & Office Depot.

Avery Dark T-shirt Transfer sheets are designed specifically for dark colored 100% cotton fabric. If you want a dark background to show you may want to consider using the Avery Light Fabric Transfers.

You may want to use the Dark Transfers for your neon green shirts. The reason I say this is because the only difference between the transfers for dark or light fabrics is that the dark transfers have a white background so we can put any image on the transfer and have it show up. The transfers for light fabrics are translucent, meaning the image printed on the transfer will just show up. On neon green you may want to have a white background, which you can change to any color, to make the colors 'POP' more. Also, white agains neon green is very crisp and clean.

What computer settings do I use to print white letters on black/navy shirts?

Unless you have a printer that prints white ink (most don't if any) however if you're trying to print white lettering onto a black tshirt simply make your background layer black and the lettering white. This will ultimately use a LOT of black ink but found it works best for just lettering on a black shirt.

Normally there is no need to change any setting on your computer to print in white. When you change the text color to white, the printer will leave the white area blank. If your printer has the capability to print in white ink contact your printer manufacturer for assistance in changing the printer settings.

Using the dark transfers you can transfer white designs on colored shirts. It will transfer over the same color as the paper is. Be sure to match the background color of your design to the color of the shirt unless you think you can trim it so that absolutely no background color is left, which isn't easy.

Since the Dark T-Shirt Transfers are white, the only way to make a white image show up would be to insert it over a dark background. You would need to insert a black or colored text box first, then insert your white text or clip art over that.

You can definitely scan in original artwork and transfer it onto a t-shirt. I wouldn't recommend drawing directly onto the transfer paper though.

Yes, you can draw your own design, scan it into your computer and then insert it into a template. For best results, we recommend using Avery Design & Print Online at www.Avery.com/Print. This online software takes you step by step through the process of selecting a template, customizing it, by using a variety of design tools including the, 'From Avery Gallery' or 'From My Computer' options to add graphics, photos and logos to your T-Shirt project. Projects can then be printed out and saved either online to your MyAvery account or directly to your computer. Plus this design software does not require any downloads. Question

I printed gray lettering on a dark transfer and ironed it onto a red shirt. The red showed throught the gray on the lettering.

I followed directions exactly as they were written and the shirt is a cotton blend. I plan to do bright orange lettering on a camouflage shirt. I want the orange to be bold on the camo. Please help me to know what I can do to achieve this. The red shirt with gray lettering was just a practice. Thanks.

You may need to turn down your iron a bit and do a few more trials with your iron temps until you get the right effect. I used the iron-on over camoflage koozies, and each time it bled through. Once I turned my iron down and only iron'ed them for about 10 seconds it worked great, I wasted about 5 koozies getting it just right though. :(

Dark t-shirt transfers don't need to be flipped before ironing. If you use Avery Design & Print Online at www.avery.com/print the program will flip automatically for your light t-shirt transfers. If you use a Word template, you'll need to use your printer settings to flip the design. When you click on print, look through the dialog box for mirror image, or click on the Help link for your printer.
