Rather than printing Landscape;
Right Click in the table and Select, Text direction
Select the direction you want you text to run
Right Click in the table again and Select, Cell Alignment
Select the position of your text
And now you can print your labels

For landscape printing, the easy way is to use the Portrait template and right-click on your text to select Text Direction and rotate the text. But if you want to be a power-user, try this: In Word 2007 or 2010, select the Mailings tab and then Labels (in older versions it's in Tools > Envelopes and Labels). Click on the Options button, choose Avery US Letter and the Avery product number and then click Details. This shows the dimensions for your labels, which need to be reversed for landscape printing, so jot them down. Take the number in the Top margin and enter it in the Side margin and the Side margin number and enter it in the Top margin box. Same for Vertical and Horizontal Pitch, Height and Width, and Number Across and Down. Change the Page size to Letter Landscape and click OK. You'll have a custom template you can re-name.

For best results use Avery Wizard or Avery Design & Print Online. When on Avery Wizard after selecting the template select the orientation. If using Avery Design & Print Online select the images and text boxes click on the 'Rotate Clockwise' option on the left hand side.
