I'm afraid to say putting a picture on the Avery template for c.d./dvd labels is a nightmare. It won't let you adjust the picture and it never fits the c.d. It took me two hours to get it right.

In general, you just click on the Print icon in Word to print your projects. If you're having trouble with a template for Microsoft Word, try using Avery Design & Print Online at www.avery.com/print instead.

Sounds like you want to set the picture as the background. For best results use Avery Design & Print Online at www.Avery.com/Print. Select the template and click on 'Enhanced Editing'. To insert a background select 'Add Image' from the left hand side formatting menu options and select 'Background'. Prior to printing use the print preview option to ensure all of the formatting is within the label.

A background or watermark can be added to the CD labels to give them a more professional look. Use the Page Background options through the Page Layout menu tab to format the backgrounds and watermarks for individual labels or entire label sheets. A background can also be inserted through Avery Design &Print Online at www.Avery.com/Print. Insert a graphic through the 'Images' formatting option and select Set as Background to create a background with the inserted graphic.

This software is no longer supported by Avery Dennison. Avery has a variety of Avery Media Labels at http://www.avery.com/avery/en_us/Products/Labels/Media-Labels/?Ns=Rank|0||Product%20Number|1. Browse through these to find the perfect label for your chosen media. Also try using the Avery Label Selector at http://www.avery.com/avery-product-... to help you choose a label that will be ideal for your next project.
