Question

How can we use Word mail merge print the tab inserts

We purchased the labels (product #11137) and cannot figure out a way to mail merge a list rather than type one name at a time. This would require running the form through the printer 20 times to fill the tab inserts.

If you're using Office 2007, you simply follow the instructions for the mail merge wizard. I would first start by opening the 11137 template open and then insert your respective mail merge fields in...then, you'd add the field 'Next Record' after each and presto, that would work.

If you are in Microsoft Word click on the view tab and check the gridlines box.

Sounds like you may need to enable the gridlines in order to see the actual card or label cells. If the template looks like a blank page, select Table Tools > Layout > Show Gridlines to view the template layout.

Question

HP Color LJ CP 4025 Printing issue

I just got a new Printer, HP Color LJ CP 4025 and the 11137 Worksaver Tab Inserts are not printing correctly now. I had no problem putting them in my old printer's bypass tray and they printed perfectly but now I'm only getting the last 5 or 6 lines and they aren't even on the tabs, it's printing on the border.. anybody else have this issue or suggestion for a solution because I love using these things and don't want to go back to manually writing on insert tabs.
Thanks,

The majority of the time alignment issues can be resolved by changing the printer settings. Depending on your printer, you may need to change the printer settings to cardstock or something similar to accommodate the card sheets. For additional information regarding changing the printer settings please see your printer user guide or contact your printer manufacturer. Also, if you are using Avery design software you may need to calibrate your printer with the software and perform a print test. For additional printing tips please see the Avery Help Center at www.Avery.com/HelpCenter. Also, try Avery Design & Print Online at www.Avery.com/Print. This design software does not require any downloads.
