We update our designs occasionally, sorry if one you liked isn't available anymore. If you have an image you'd like to use saved on your computer, you can import it into any layout that you like to customize your Avery products. Choose Insert then Picture and browse to find the file. To make it easier to move the image around, in Picture Tools, choose Text Wrapping and click on In front of Text. Then you can click and drag the image to the position you want.

Question

Why doesn't my text print?

I wanted to make my own design using Avery 6490 template for cordless phones. Printing them, I got only the circles and not the text inside the circles. Additionally, there is no copy/paste function available which would have made the project so much easier--each circle and text box had to be made. Because this project was only for personal use it didn't make that much difference if all circles were the same size, but that was what I wanted. And finally, I'm disappointed that I can't access this template directly through Word as I used to. Thank you in advance for your prompt response and hopefully a resolution to this issue and perhaps with other similar templates. I would have to believe that others are having the same frustration.

If you are using Avery Design & Print Online to create your labels, the circles you create in the first label should automatically copy over to your other labels so they are all the same size. To make sure your text will print inside the circle, click on the circle in your first label and then click "Send to Back" button on the left toolbar.

The two sided products are formatted one side at a time. First format the front and print it. Then format the back. We recommend you print a test page to get familiarize yourself with the orientation of the printer. If using Design & Print Online format each side of the project by selecting 'Front of Page' or 'Back of Page' from the menu options on the left.

You can save a project to your computer or in your account. Access saved projects on your account by signing on to it through the 'Sign In' link at the top of the page. If the project was saved to your computer use the 'Open Project' link at www.Avery.com/Print. The files saved to your computer will be saved to your Downloads folder on your My Documents.

There are some identified intermittent issues with the new version of Design & Print Online. These issues are in the process of being rectified. In the mean time we ask that you use the previous version of the software that can be accessed through the 'Miss the old version?' link available towards the bottom of www.Avery.com/Print.

For best results, we recommend using Avery Design & Print Online at www.Avery.com/Print. This online software takes you step by step through the process of selecting the correct template, customizing it and then printing out your finished project. You can design several different labels on a single page by using the 'Edit One' option, or you can apply the same design to all of the labels by using the 'Edit All' option. There is no download required and projects can be saved either online to your MyAvery account or directly to your computer. Here is a link to view the software demo: http://www.avery.com/avery/en_us/De....

Question

Is it possible to rotate 5168 labels with Avery Design Pro Software for the Mac?

With your older MacLabel software, it was easy to rotate 5168 labels so that they were longer in width (5") than in height (3.5"), but this no longer seems possible with your most recent software. Am I incorrect? If I am right about this, it would be very useful if you added this ability to Design Pro.
Thanks
