Formatting and printing individual or multiple labels can be done by using the downloadable templates at www.Avery.com/Templates and Avery design software at www.Avery.com/Software. When using the Word templates, select "Single label" option and format the desired amount of labels. In Avery Wizard, after selecting the template and orientation, choose 'Type many different entries on a sheet'. If on Avery Design & Print Online select the 'Enhanced Editing' option to create individual labels. Reminder, if you select a pre-designed template, delete the formatting on unused labels. If using the donwloadable and Word templates while on the last label of the page tab to create additional labels on a new page. On Design & Print Online select the number of pages through the Enhanced Editing options.

Question

How can I get Name and Company data to line wrap in a merge label

Created Access data base of 1st and Last Name and Company ID information for use on Avery Name Badge Insert #5392. Created the template and on screen everything looks great - long names and Company names line wrap but when I submit to the printer, fields are re-sized to fit on the single line instead of line wrapping as displayed???
How can I get it to print as it displays? Already tried un-checking the "Automatically adjust size of text object" in the properties box of the text field but that did nothing!!

For best results use the mail merge option available through Avery Design & Print Online at www.Avery.com/Print. If you are not familiar with the software, here is the link to the software demo http://www.avery.com/avery/en_us/De.... Create the spreadsheet with the name and the company on separate columns. The merged fields can be moved around to meet the needs of your project.

Question

I want to change the text properties on the entire panel of labels, how do I do that?

I created a file of labels for holiday cards last year. I have 6 files and over 150 labels created. The font is red on all of these files. Red does not show up on my envelope this year, so I need to change it. How can I change the font color and style on the entire panel of labels at one time, without needing to click 150 different labels to format.

The majority of the time alignment issues can be resolved by changing the printer settings. Depending on your printer, you may need to change the printer settings to label or something similar to accommodate the label sheets. For additional information regarding changing the printer settings please see your printer user guide or contact your printer manufacturer. Also, if you are using Avery design software you may need to calibrate your printer with the software and perform a print test. For additional printing tips please see the Avery Help Center at www.Avery.com/HelpCenter. Also, try Avery Design & Print Online at www.Avery.com/Print. This design software does not require any downloads. For tips on formatting a template in DesignPro, click on the link below: http://www.avery.com/avery/v/index.....
