on the top put the inside of your card on the left and right side will be the the left and right side when the card is folded do not create the front and back leave the bottom 2 boxes blank after the inside is printed put that paper back in the printer paper tray so the print is facing down on the bottom then create your back on the left side ON THE TOP of the template and the front would be the right side ON THE TOP of the template again leave the bottom 2 boxes blank and print and i bet everyone can figure out how to fold it from there

If you are using Microsoft Word, you can change the direction of text, but only sideways, not upside down. Since Word does not let you print upside down, you have to retrofit the template and print vertically. For a card with the fold on the top, use the tall template, and for a left fold, use the wide template. Only use the top right and the bottom left quadrants. For the upper right quadrant, change the direction so that the print reads upward. Change the font size of the lower left quadrant to be larger (20, 22, or 24) and the text direction so that the print reads downward. To center the text in the bottom left quadrant you could either change the cell alignment to center or simply use the enter key to center the text. To change the text direction, enter the text, select it, then right-click. From the pop-up menu that appears, choose "text direction". Any pictures or clip art will also have to be rotated. Double click on picture below for a sample.

I would be interested in an answer that worked too. The Avery answer stating that the text would be automatically rotated 180 degrees did not work for me.

Avery greeting cards has micro-perforations and scoring to help with separating and folding the cards. These cards come in either 1 and 2 per card sheet.
