answer 2
If you are using Microsoft Word, you can change the direction of text, but only sideways, not upside down. Since Word does not let you print upside down, you have to retrofit the template and print vertically. For a card with the fold on the top, use the tall template, and for a left fold, use the wide template. Only use the top right and the bottom left quadrants. For the upper right quadrant, change the direction so that the print reads upward. Change the font size of the lower left quadrant to be larger (20, 22, or 24) and the text direction so that the print reads downward. To center the text in the bottom left quadrant you could either change the cell alignment to center or simply use the enter key to center the text. To change the text direction, enter the text, select it, then right-click. From the pop-up menu that appears, choose "text direction". Any pictures or clip art will also have to be rotated. I would be interested in an answer that worked too. The Avery answer stating that the text would be automatically rotated 180 degrees did not work for me.
