I do keep bundled pictures in page protectors but I do not use them for display as in a photo album. Acid Free paper is the key to maintaining photos.

These diamond clear sheet protectors are archival safe and can be used to store photos. Avery also produces Avery Photo Storage Pages 13401, 13404, 13406, and 13407 that can help create customized photo albums.
