how do I make an invitation using Avery product 8317?

This is a difficult question to answer without knowing what you are trying to include. I would think you could have the front say something simple like Wedding Invitation. Or you could have a something like a poem that is meaningful to you on the front, or a nice picture of you and your partner. The options are very open. On the inside you could have the actual invitation.. you are invited to the... If your parents are announcing the event, you could put a picture of them on the inside top flap above the invitation. Don't forget, the card has a back too - you can put nice little decorative touches there - like a bouquet of flowers. Have fun!

My thinking is that both cards are going to print the same. In other words, I am not sure you can design two separate cards for the same page.

If the template looks like a blank page, select Table Tools > Layout > Show Gridlines to view the template layout.

Question

How do I set this template up to print double sided

I'd like to print on all four parts of this notecard. How can I set it up so that I can do this and so that it prints in the right direction after I fold it.

My printer is not designed for double sided printing. All I did was print one side, take the printed page out, rotate it and put it back in the printer tray. Then I printed the other side. It worked out just fine.

For best results we recommend using Avery Design & Print Online at www.Avery.com/Print. Select from a variety of pre-designed templates or create your own by selecting a pre-desinged template. Insert text and images through the corresponding menu options on the left hand side. Use the Sheet Navigator to format the different sections of the notecard; the text and images will automatically orient itself automatically. I just used the insert feature (for a saying on the front of the card, but would work for a picture) to put the saying/image on the card. Then you can use the directional arrows to move or resize the image.
