Question

I have used half of a page of labels and when I went to print some more labels, they came out looking smudged with ink.

I don't want to waste a sheet if there are usable labels and as long as they line up, they do print, but the finished product is not so good. Any suggestions as to how to avoid this in the future?

When removing used labels, part of page was damaged. This damage caused page to not exit the printer easily.

I believe the labels are only intended to go through the PRINTER one time; HOWEVER, I have had very good results by printing my "labels" on plain paper, then using the copier to print them onto the label media. This can be done twice, but I have not tried doing it more times than that.

Does AVERY make a label to print online postage?

Since more and more eBayers are turning to online postage, I was wondering if Avery makes labels for that purpose? As it is, we have to print the labels on ordinary paper and then tape them to the package. It would sure be nice if we could print a self-sticking label instead.

Avery White Shipping labels will be perfect to use as wine bottle labels. These labels are avaialble in a variety of sizes. Product number 8163 that measures 2" x 4" and 8164 3-1/3" x 4" will be a great for this project. These labels can be formatted using Avery design software to customize them. To create a sheet of the same labels select 'Create a sheet of identical layouts' when using Avery Wizard and select 'Full page of same label' when using the Word templates. If using Design & Print Online, select the Quick & Simple option. Insert the text on one of the labels and it will automatically replicate itself on the remaining labels. Changes to individual labels or whole sheet can be made after creating the first label by adding or deleting text and images.
