Questions & Answers for AVERY Easy Peel(R), Permanent, Glossy White Round Labels, Laser/InkJet, 2", Print-To-The-Edge 22807

Question

Image won't fit exactly on template in Word.

Is there a trick to get my image to fit exactly in the circle?
I am using a high quality image created in Photoshop Elements saved as a jpeg.
When I copy and paste into the circle my circle logo is a bit small (1") so I am trying to expand it diagonally but it appears the way Word works, the image will only expand down and to the left.
Since I only have the option to paste into a right aligned spot in the center of the circle, I don't see any options to move my circle logo back up and to the left.
Is it my margins?
This is driving me nuts! Any help or advice would be GREATLY appreciated. I've attached a pic of the document I'm working with!

The way I do; I create the exact size of the label first in photoshop, you will want to do this in layers, on first layer, use your elipse tool and create the exact size of the circle label, create layer 2, open your image on this layer and size to fit into the circle you just created, this way you can place your image and size to know exactly how it will fit and what it will look like. Once you have the image sized to fit into your label, you can delete the elipse layer and save only the image at the size you just created to a file of it's own. Before saving crop off surrounding area before saving, otherwise when you import into word to place on your lables you will have your small image on a full 8.5x11 page. Now when you insert image onto your labels it should already be of exact size. Hope this helps.

Format the inserted graphic by changing the text wrapping to 'Through'. This will allow you to move the graphic within the printable space. Also, try using Avery Design & Print Online at www.Avery.com/Print. Select the 'From Avery Gallery' or 'From My Computer' to add graphics, photos and logos to your project to give them a customized look. Text can be added by typing directly into the template or by adding a text box. How to print if I don't use Microsoft Word?

Since Avery Design Pro 5 does not have a template for this product, how would you recommend printing it? Does Avery supply technical details that would allow me to create my own template in CorelDraw, details including exact placement measurements?

The only Avery round labels that are available in 1" size are the #5410 White Removable Round Labels. These come on 4"x6" sheets which can be used in a laser or ink jet printer, or handwritten. Avery also has 1" round Printable Mailing Seals in silver (#5249), gold (#5258), clear (#5248) or white (#5247). The clear and white have a perforation in the middle.

Question

print alignment for #22807 labels

I can't get these to print as they show on the screen. I see that other people have this problem but don't know what they did to finally make it work. I move them up and down and they just print all over the place! Frustrating!

The majority of the time alignment issues can be resolved by changing the printer settings. Depending on your printer, you may need to change the printer settings to label or something similar to accommodate the label sheets. For additional information regarding changing the printer settings please see your printer user guide or contact your printer manufacturer. Also, if you are using Avery design software you may need to calibrate your printer with the software and perform a print test. For additional printing tips please see the Avery Help Center at www.Avery.com/HelpCenter. Also, try Avery Design & Print Online at www.Avery.com/Print. This design software does not require any downloads.

Question

22807 - How do I create a full page of the same label?

I am using Word for Mac, and I downloaded the template. I am inserting a picture and adding a text box to the label. I can successfully create 1 label, but I cannot copy/paste to the remaining labels without affecting the label format. I also am having trouble selecting and editing the text in the one label that I create. Please help. Thank you.

The easiest way is to create one label a "template." I click just outside the upper left-hand corner edge and drag over all elements to the bottom right-hand corner of that label and group the elements. This makes it easy to copy and paste/drag to the other label positions. This procedure requires no resizing or adjustment of the elements within the original label. Please note that if you need to make adjustments to the original template, they should be made before you copy/paste, as these changes will not update on the rest of the labels.
