LABELS are superficial. They do NOT affect the DVD or CD is any manner. In fact - at any time - (and it takes time) - you can remove a label.

I tried using these labels with a laser printer. I had to feed them from a tray and the labels did not feed properly and ended up badly streaked. If you have a single sheet feeder they might work, but I've had problems getting these labels to feed through my inkjet printer as well, whether I use the tray or the single sheet feed in the back.

The products are created according to the specification of the printers. We not recommend using a different type of printer with a product intended to be used with an inkjet printer.

Use Avery DesignPro --search for it on this site to find PC and Mac versions. It's very useful, with lots of options like fonts, colors, shapes, clip art, and the ability to insert your own jpg photos.

These labels are formatted the same as the others. Insert text by adding in a text box and format as needed for the project.

Paper Settings During Printing

I would like to know what paper setting I select during the printing process. The labels state that they are a matte finish, but being that they are labels and not traditional paper, should I choose the Matte Photo Paper setting or leave it as Plain Paper? Thanks.

You may need to change the printer settings to Labels or something similar. The printer settings need to be changed depending on the printer type. Please refer to yoru printer user guide for more informaiton on changing paper settings.

Question

How do I print DVD label without two vertical lines appearing on the disk?

The label is divided up into 5 sections creating 4 vertical lines in the sheet. 3 of these sections and 2 of these vertical lines interrupt the DVD label. The flimsiness of the paper combined with the vertical grooves through the DVD labels destroy the professional print quality of this label. It appears the toner does not get completely into the vertical grooves creating two very unprofessional lines through my label design. Other than this issue, I am in love with the quality of the labels.... I have tried printing several ways and the lines still occur. If there is any way to fix this, I would loooove to know how. I purchased $50 worth of these labels and would hate for them to go to waste. I have attached a photo to show my issue.

For best results we recommend using Avery Design & Print Online at www.Avery.com/Print. This online software takes you step by step through the process of selecting the correct template, customizing it and then printing out your finished project. Select the 'From Avery Gallery' or 'From My Computer' options to add backgrounds, graphics & photos to your projects to give them a customized look. Text can be added by typing directly into template or adding a text box. Projects can then be saved either online to your MyAvery account or directly to your computer. Plus, there's no download required. If you are not familiar with this online software here is a link to view the software demo: http://www.avery.com/avery/en_us/De....
