Question
Will these stand up to DVD player heat?
While I prefer the matte white film for labeling my DVDs for the adhesive quality, I need literally hundreds of labels, and that gets ridiculously expensive. Looking for a more economic solution, these labels seem to be what I need, with one difference: This product states "CD Drive and players guarantee: label won't lift, peel off or wrinkle", but this is not the same guarantee listed on the DVD film labels. I have to wonder, being used in a DVD player, can they stand up to the heat? These DVD players and quad-core computer DVD drives generate a lot of heat, so this is a serious concern.
Also worth noting: I agree with the previous commenter - spine labels are ALWAYS thrown away in our office. I make custom sleeves for my cases (or use individual clear sleeves), and have zero need for spine labels. I'd rather have one more label per sheet for the cost.
