This answer may not help you since it's over two years old, but using Windows 7, pull up a Word doc. go to the Mailing tab in the middle of the screen and then select labels on the left of your screen. Select 'Options' and under Vendor Labels - select Avery US Letter and scroll until you find 5660.

These labels are made to meet the specification of a laser printer. We do not recommend using a different type of printer.

Formatting and printing individual or multiple labels can be done by using the downloadable templates at www.Avery.com/Templates and Avery design software at www.Avery.com/Software. When using the Word templates, select "Single label" option and format the desired amount of labels. In Avery Wizard, after selecting the template and orientation, choose 'Type many different entries on a sheet'. If on Avery Design & Print Online select the 'Enhanced Editing' option to create individual labels. Reminder, if you select a pre-designed template, delete the formatting on unused labels. If using the donwloadable and Word templates while on the last label of the page tab to create additional labels on a new page. On Design & Print Online select the number of pages through the Enhanced Editing options.

Is there a comparable InkJet label to the 5660 for Laser? If so, what is the product number?

Is there a comparable InkJet label to the 5660 for Laser? If so, what is the product number? I also have the issue of smearing when trying to use the 5660 labels with an InkJet printer.

Avery® Easy Peel® Clear Address Labels for Inkjet Printers 8660, 1" x 2-5/8", Pack of 750 is the inkjet equivalent of 5660.

You can use template# 5160 in Word or if the existing list of contacts/addresses are on a spreadsheet software, the best way to create mailing lists is to use the mail merge feature through Avery Design & Print Online at www.Avery.com/Print.
