I would not use them on silk. I have always kept some of the clip on badges on hand for any time I wasn't sure about the material use.

The removable adhesive is safe for most fabrics (not recommended for use on vinyl, plastic, leather, suede, velvet, corduroy, silk, or other delicate fabrics).

Question

When printing name badges, margins, tabs, etc are set but some badges print perfect while others are outside the margins, print area.

It's so frustrating when I have to print 100 badges and I've tried everything I know but it won't let me print one label to use a blank label on a page of 8.

I format the badges and then print a test page on regular paper to check the margins against the actual badges to ensure they fit. Sometimes I use a program other than Word, i.e., Publisher, which sets the template of one label so you can do a mail merge.

While I have never seen the type of labels you describe, stickers do have a shelf life. I recommend keeping your labels in a cool, dry place and to use them frequently so the adhesive does not dry out.

You can do this two ways. One option is to create an excel file with one sequential numbers in each cell, then import this data into your template via mail merge on Avery Design & Print Online or with the Wizard software. Option 2 would be to download the DesignPro software and use the sequential numbering feature. Click on the Help link in the DesignPro software for detailed instructions.
