Looking for Answers about AVERY Laser & Ink Jet Tent Cards 5302?

I use a word document that has two pages. I print one page and reverse it and put in the tray and print again. Here is a set of instructions that my staff follows:

Instructions for Printing Patients’ Chemotherapy Summary Card
(Using HP LaserJet P3005dn Printer and
Avery 8577 Postcards/Index Cards - 4 cards/sheet 51/2” x 41/4”
Avery 5302 Small Tent Cards - 4 cards/sheet 2” x 31/2”

Printer Setup:

Make sure the printer is set up for printing single side (instead of double side) and at normal print quality (instead of fine or EconoMode or toner saving mode.)
a. Select Control Panel – Printer and Faxes – Right mouse click on HP LaserJet P3005 PS and select Printing Preferences
b. Select Paper/Quality tab and make sure EconoMode is unchecked
c. Select Finishing and make sure Print on Both Sides is unchecked

0. Count (n) and Load Avery 8577 Postcards/Index Cards sheets in paper tray

1. Print Page 1 by setting Pages: 1 and Number of copies: n. Hematology & Oncology Center Logo, address, and Patient’s Chemotherapy Summary title will print.

Print out would look like this where B is blank and H is Hematology & Oncology Logo:

2. Take printout and place in paper tray with blank page on the top and B-edge feeding in. Print Page 2 by setting Pages: 1 and Number of copies: n. Disclaimer text will print on blank spaces.

3. Take printout and place in paper tray with printed page on the top and B-edge feeding in. Print Page 3 by setting Pages: 1 and Number of copies: n. A blank form with headings for Patient Name, Diagnosis, Comments, Chemo Regimen, and Start Date will print.

4. Trim and fold cards so they are ready to use.

When using the template for 5302 available on Avery Design & Print Online at www.Avery.com/Print you do not need to make any adjustments. Simply enter the text to the top and bottom part and it will print professional looking small tent cards.

For best results use the templates available at www.Avery.com/Templates. Another option is to use Avery DesignPro for Mac computers. The free software can be downloaded for free at www.Avery.com/Software.

These tent cards measure 2" x 3-1/2" and a template for this product is avaialble at www.Avery.com/Templates and also through Avery design software at www.Avery.com/Software. Avery does not provide a template for a tent card that measures 1" x 3-1/2".
