Question

Is there a tip or trick for printing the 11201 template with an HP inkjet printer?

The test sheets print fine and appear to be lined up. But when inserting the actual (heavier) 11201 sheet it is over an inch off. It does the same thing with other Avery labels such as the 5160 label sheets. What's the trick to make these work?

Good Luck! I have the same problem! I clicked here thinking surely they would answer your questions.
They prince completely out of alignment from one page to the next. I have used Avery templates for years and never had this problem. I NEED more sheets mailed to me to try to get them to all be alike. I had to white-out half of mine and used marker on some. Looks really bad and not what I am accustomed to.

When you click on the Print button, in the dialog box that comes up click on the Properties button. Change the media type to Heavyweight or Labels and see if that helps.

Question

11201 - Practice and final alignment are different

When I print with a practice sheet the alignment with the scored lines is good, but when I put the actual Avery form in, the printing moves 6/10 of an inch upward on the page. This happens whether I am using the online template or one I download from Avery. Using Mac OSX 10.4, Word 2004 for Mac & HP Photosmart C4780 printer. Any suggestions?

Be sure you didn't tear off the top and bottom perforated part of the Avery label paper. It is about .6 of an inch. I almost did, then I measured it and realized it needed to stay on

You may need to change your printer settings to accommodate the divider sheets. Please see your printer user guide or contact your printer manufacturer for assistance with changing the printer settings.

If you're having trouble downloading a template, try using Avery Design & Print Online at www.avery.com/print - no download is required.

Question

Where can I find more templates for #11201?

I followed directions explicitly...printed on plain paper first, held up to light to make sure it was correct, printed with template....WAY off! Don't know why.

If your project printed fine on plain paper, but didn't on the actual product, your printer probably fed the Avery product differently from the paper. Try adjusting your printer settings in the print dialog box to print on labels or card stock and use the manual feed tray.

If you have both Works and Word installed, it's best to save the template on your computer, then launch Word and choose Open to browse for the file.
