Trifold Template for 8324 does not show lines for where the folds will be in Word 2010

The prior answer to similar question under borders in the Table Tools, view Grid Lines does not work. I need to know where the folds will be so I can position the content.

Sounds like you may need to enable the gridlines in order to see the actual card or label cells. If the template looks like a blank page, select Table Tools > Layout > Show Gridlines to view the template layout.

For best results we recommend using Avery Design & Print Online at www.Avery.com/Print. This online software takes you step by step through the process of selecting the correct template, customizing it and then printing out your final project. Select the 'From Avery Gallery' or 'From My Computer' to add backgrounds, graphics & photos to your projects to give them a customized look. Text can be added by typing directly into the template or adding a text box. Projects can then be saved either online to your MyAvery account or directly to your computer. Plus, there's no download required. If you are not familiar with this online software, here is a link to view the software demo: http://www.avery.com/avery/en_us/De....

Question

I am working on a tri fold brochure- print area lines are not correct

The red broken dotted lines that form the print area are messed up on the top of the sheet with the top of the brochure cutting off as well as the right side. Yet in print preview it looks like everything is within the print space. I ran a calibration and that's fine. On the horizontal brochure, the red lines are very indented on the left and to the edge on the right. Top of page cuts off everything. Help, please. I've tried everything. Thanks!

The majority of the time alignment issues can be resolved by changing the printer settings. Depending on your printer, you may need to change the printer settings to label or something similar to accommodate the label sheets. For additional information regarding changing the printer settings please see your printer user guide or contact your printer manufacturer. Also, if you are using Avery design software you may need to calibrate your printer with the software and perform a print test. For additional printing tips please see the Avery Help Center at www.Avery.com/HelpCenter. Also, try Avery Design & Print Online at www.Avery.com/Print. This design software does not require any downloads.

If you created your project with Avery Design & Print Online at www.Avery.com/Print, you can apply the information and the design to another template through the 'Apply Design to Another Product' option located in the Print & Preview options. If you used a downloadable template, the design and content will need to be copied and pasted into the new template. You can also copy the data to a spreadsheet and use the mail merge feature available through Avery Design & Print Online, to transfer it to the new template. Keep in mind that this feature will only import the text, so if you have an image or design that you would like to use with the new template, it will need to be added separately.
