For best results use the templates available at www.Avery.com/Templates and through Avery design software at www.Avery.com/Software. There is no need to adjust or change the templates since they are created according to the specifications of the products. Avery templates can be customized by adding logos and pictures. If using MS Word 2007 or 2010, click on the Insert menu options and select Picture. Locate the file that you like to insert and click on Open. To format the picture further more use change the text wrapping option to Through.

It would be helpful to know more about the issue you are having. From where are you trying to download the template? This template is already built into Microsoft Word -- you only need to click on "Mailings" then "Labels" then "Options" and find the product number 5436. The template will automatically open. If you are using the Avery Wizard, you need only type in the 5436 and select the template, then choose the blank template or one of the pre-designed templates and it will open. Same for avery.com's Design & Print Online. You just enter the product number 5436 and select the template, then you can choose from the blank template or one of many pre-designed templates. If you requested the template to be sent to you from Avery you just need to save it then open it.

Question

I have 05436 Multi Purpose Labels and the templates are very different.

I have the 6 per sheet that run in 3 columns, 2 rows, versus what shows online as 5 rows. The labels are 05436 with S1648 underneath. They are avery multi purpose labels removable, 1"x3" and come 250 to a package. Can you please point me to the correct template? Maybe it's a different template number?

Question

I downloaded template for 5436 but it doesn't work with my Dell 2330dn laser printer.

I fill out all five labels and it only prints the first two, and they are upside down and not even in the right place, i.e., it prints them past the edge of the labels. ????
