Question

Avery return address labels - 3 line return addresses on Avery Labels #5167 don't line up on labels when printed

I am using Arial 8 and the print preview shows the address is perfectly positioned, but doesn't line up when printed. I insert the sheet manually and in the direction of the printed arrow on the label sheet. So far I have wasted 4 sheets of labels trying to make this work. Please respond.

The same thing has happened to me. I printed the first package of 800 labels with no problem, but I just bought a new package and they don't line up when I print. The left side is ok, but it gets worse as it gets to the right column. I waste at least half the labels. Not cool with how expensive they are.

The templates are created according to the dimensions of the label and card sheets. There is no need to make any manual adjustments to the templates. For best results use the templates available at www.Avery.com/Templates and also through Avery design software at www.Avery.com/Software. Also, take a look at some of the Printing Tips available at the Avery Help Center at www.Avery.com/HelpCenter.

For Avery Template 5167, I think the only way to change the content in the boxes is to use copy/paste. You can only edit one text box at a time, and there does not seem to be an auto-copy/paste option.

To create a sheet of the same labels select 'Create a sheet of identical layouts' when using Avery Wizard and select 'Full page of same label' when using the Word templates. If using Design & Print Online, select the Quick & Simple option. Insert the text on one of the labels and it will automatically replicate itself on the remaining labels. Changes to individual labels or whole sheet can be made after creating the first label by adding or deleting text and images.

Just left click on the image and use the tool bar to find the delete command and left click on the delete command. That deletes the image. In some programs you can left click on the image and then right click and the delete command will show up on a menu. Then just scroll down and highlight "delete" and click. Hope this helps.

First, if you are using a "template" you might not be able to change that icon. Some programs allow you to replace their icons with others if you are using a "template". Others don't. If you want to insert your own icon, start with a blank label in the program you are using. Then you can customize it anyway you'd like. In most programs, you just left click on the icon and delete the icon. Then, you can "insert" via the program tools a new icon. When you locate your new icon just double click on it to place it onto your label. Then you can resize and move it on your label anywhere you'd like.
Hope this helps.
