I just got a copy of Office 2007 & Windows 7. Can't figure out how to print on file folder labels.

In Word (any version really) just go to Tools/Labels and click on the Avery number where it says "Choose" and it will automatically set up a label for you. It's really simple. then you have a template and can change/edit as needed. One thing I always do is print on plain paper the first time and then hold it up to visualize and see if it lines up with the sheet of labels. That helps save on waste of a page of labels in case there is a mistake.

This template should be included in Word 2007, so you don't need to customize it.

Avery does not guarantee feeding labels sheets through the printer more than once.

If you want to do a few labels at a time, it's best to use our Print or Write File Folder Labels. Here's a link to the product description: www.avery.com/avery/en_us/Products/.... What are the required dimensions for label 5266 in order to avoid printing over the color bars?

All three templates I've tried, including the one on the Avery website, print too high and too far to the left. Is there another template available that would work for labels that have colored bars on the top and left?

Try using the Avery Design & Print Online tool at www.avery.com/print. Or try adjusting your margins slightly using your software program. Be sure to print on a test sheet and place the labels behind the test sheet to make sure everything is lining up before you print on the labels.

To get a pdf file, you'd need to use Design & Print Online at www.avery.com/print and when you get to the Print dialog, choose to save as a pdf.

Yes, individual labels can be printed. Select the plain unformatted template from www.Avery.com or through Avery Software at www.Avery.com/Software. If you select a pre-designed template the formatting on the other labels will need to be deleted. However, multiple passes through a printer/copier cause curling and peeling of the remaining labels.

For a software demo please see http://www.avery.com/avery/en_us/De.... The newest version of Avery Wizard is available to be downloaded with the 2010 holiday designs at www.Avery.com/Wizard. However, this version is compatible with Windows 7, 32 bit system. The Windows 7, 64 bit compatible software will be available in March 2011. In the mean time try out Avery Design & Print Online at Avery.com/Print.

To edit and format the font, highlight or select the text box and make the needed changes through the Font or Format menu options. You can also select the size and style of the font at the beginning of the project.
