Template for 22807

I am using the template for 22807, however, when I print, it doesn't line up with the labels. I've wasted several labels trying to get it lined up.

they do work perfectly but you need to know how to use word. Delete the square grid lines then insert picture. next select page layout and position. select more layout options and last select behind text. Now you can line them up however you need. know that its touchy when positioning your picture as you will select the template rather than the picture hence the reason for removing grid lines.

The template for this and other Avery products are available at www.Avery.com/Templates and also through Avery design software at www.Avery.com/Software. The templates are created according to the specifications of the templates and does not need to be altered. You may need to change the printer settings to accommodate the label sheets. For additional printing tips please see the Avery Help Center at www. Avery.com/HelpCenter.

I experienced the same thing. The template apparently does not work properly for these labels.

I made my own template, but as my review states, there is no way these will ever work perfectly with Microsoft Word because it can't tolerate thousandths of an inch which would be required for the proper alignment based on the layout Avery gave this sheet of labels.

I created another circle, larger than the label circle, the same color as the edge of my graphic. Then I inserted my graphic on top of the solid color circle. That way the color overlaps the edge and you'll have full color to the edge when you remove the sticker.

I discovered that if I formatted the picture to "in front of the text" that I could manipulate its size and location to completely fill the label.

We recommend using Avery Design & Print Online at www.Avery.com/Print. Insert a graphic, logo or photo through the Images menu option and set it as a background by using the 'Set as Background' option. If you are not familiar with the software here is the link to the software demo http://www.avery.com/avery/en_us/De....

Question

Why is it that Avery can't seem to support their label products with their own software?

The Mac version of Avery DesignPro doesn't support label # 22807, forcing you to use lame and unusable MS-Word templates to even use the labels. This software has been available for years and you're still on version 1.0.1.
