I too have had those problems, be sure that scaling is off. Also noticed that it will line up on one of my printers but not on the other. Always print draft on plain paper. Watch where your curser is located on the screen, sometimes it will be above the work area and make page drop.

What version of Word are you using?
You need to;
click on FILE
then PAGE SETUP
tab over to TOP AND BOTTOM MARGINS
and depending on the problem
increase or decrease these numbers.
Eg. If the printer is starting to print
at the top of the page before
the labels begin you need to increase the top margin
from .6 to .7 and change bottom margin to 0.
Check the result.
If the printing is getting closer to the label but not yet in the
label increase from .7 to .75. Leave bottom margin at 0.
Check the result!
Continue until you have it right!
Good Luck!

Using template 8460 and cannot seem to get entire sheet to print correctly formated on each page.

Some addresses are 4 lines, others 5.... how they get printed on the label is cut off or printed outside the border.

Use the search function on your computer to find the saved file. If you used Avery Design & Print Online, the file is normally saved to the Downloads folder in My Documents.

I had the same problem. I came back to the Avery Template on their site, opened the new one (like I had done originally) typed 1 line and hit save. What I discovered is that it's saved to a temp file, so I wrote down the address, which looked something like this C:\DOCUME~1\TAMMY\LOCALS~1\TEMP\ and then the final part was what I had named the file. I then went to my start screen, went to the run file and typed in the address above. Presto, it was there and then I promptly saved it to my documents. Hope this helps!

to print the whole sheet using designpro......you must have the "all the same" button pushed.....undo the "all the same" button, then select which label on the sheet that you want to use......put a text box inside this label, enter your text & print.

A label is paper, you should be able to print anything you want, within it's boundaries. You can even add graphics.

Print anything including logos or images. When using both text and images it usually works best when you do within a text box ( use seperate text box for each medium); makes it so much easier to move things around or change copy size or type. You could change from horizontal to vertical within the right program.

For best results, we recommend using the mail merge feature available through Avery Design & Print Online at www.Avery.com/Print. This online software takes you step by step through the process of selecting a template, using the 'mail merge' function to import your data, customizing your design and then printing. Your projects can then be saved either online to your MyAvery account or directly to your computer. Here is a link with additional information on this online software and instructions on how to use the mail merge feature: http://www.avery.com/avery/en_us/De....

The majority of the time alignment issues can be resolved by changing the printer settings. Depending on your printer, you may need to change the printer settings to label or something similar to accommodate the label sheets. For additional information regarding changing the printer settings please see your printer user guide or contact your printer manufacturer. Also, if you are using Avery design software you may need to calibrate your printer with the software and perform a print test. For additional printing tips please see the Avery Help Center at www.Avery.com/HelpCenter. Also, try Avery Design & Print Online at www.Avery.com/Print. This design software does not require any downloads.

Without knowing what software you are using, I can suggest that you adjust your top margin in page format. Always run a test on plain paper before trying to print on labels. The extra time you spend in prep work will be worth it in saving time, money and frustration.
