Open the Avery Wizard in Word. A box opens where you select the lable you want. You can sort by All or Type. It lists the product #, gives the size and color. What's nice is when you highlight a label it shows a preview of what the sheet looks like.

The structure of the web pages appears to categorize labels by their use and within the use there are multiple sizes. For instance "shipping labels" "return address labels," etc. If you use Word choose "Tools" select "Letters and Miailings" and then "Envelopes and Labels." In the dialog box select the "Labels" Tab and then "Options." In the dialog box that appears make sure that "Avery Labels" is selected in the Labe Products box and you can scroll down and as each label desciption is reached it provides you with the dimensions of the individual labels.

What label size are you looking for? It is rare for Avery not to have a compatable size. Perhaps avery has one within a fraction of your size. I have found that many times I have enough printing area set up that I can find an Avery lablel that is a fraction bigger or smaller and it works well, in fact better in most cases. Don't give up. Search for a close size and then download the template for it. Once you have the template, try it out and see if it will accomodate your print area. The templates are a great resource in determining your label needs at Avery.
If you need help in the future. Post the size or application for your label and maybe someone can be of better help that way. Good luck.

If you have some idea of the size you want, the following websites have the ability to see the different sizes; however, it is necessary to narrow down your search and then look at the list of all items that met the design type you want
Another way to find label sizes is to do the following, it is somewhat roundabout but it provides the information you are requesting:
1. open a word document
2. click "Tools" on the menu bar
3. click "Labels" in the drop-down list
4. when the labels window opens - click "Options" and up comes the "Label Options" window
5. Under "Product Number" click through the different labels. When a label name is highlighted the "Label Information" box to the right will show the details (including size) of the specific label. See uploaded JPEG for step-by-step "illustrated" instructions

Since there are so many products in the Avery Dennison line, I would use the search feature to find the specific size I was looking for -- that should at least get you in the ballpark.

Otherwise, you can go into the general category and then use the search function for the type of label you are looking for.

I know this doesn't directly answer your question, but it is a work-around solution.

First, you need to find the label and it'ssize on the package you have purchased. Then, along the left hand side column of the Avery web-site, chose the most appropriate type of label. Go from there to match your type. You may also do a search above at the right. Lastly, if you haven't yet made a purchase, you may still do the above to find the appropriate type of label you are looking for.

You can view a list of label sizes in the left navigation pane of the Avery Website but you have to drill down a bit first:
Select the "Products tab" from the top navigation bar, and from this drop-down menu choose "labels".
Then from the label list in the left navigation pane you need to choose a label type (e.g. "Addressing labels").
When the specific label type info opens in the left navigation pane scroll down to "More refinements". This will open the dimension list, and at the bottom you can click on "more..." to view a full list of the dimensions available for that type of label.
Don't see what you want? Try the search again with a different label type.

Finding a list of label sizes can be as easy and simply as starting your word processor and selecting "Labels" from your "Format" menu. I use WordPerfect v11, all the time and if you select "Labels" under the Format drop down menu, you will see the entire list of Avery products for both ink jet printers and laser printers that are already pre-formatted in WordPerfect for you to select and use. They include the product numbers and even a brief description of the name, size or measurement of the labels. You can select the size or label description that seems most appropriate for your needs and then view the format on your word processor. If you find that you picked the right one for your needs, simply go to your stationary supply store or order it on line using the Avery product number that will show up on your word processor's label menu. With WordPerfect, this system is so easy and it works 100% of the times like magic. Enjoy! GAF - Miami

Maybe because Avery produces such a vast assortment of labels, I have not been able to locate one definitive list with every label on it. However, the Avery website does allow one to do Product searches, and one can narrow the search by selecting "Labels". From here you can select the type of label (ex: address, file folder, shipping). The search can be further broken into labels for the type of printer you are using, by desired label color, how many labels per sheet, etc.

Hello Anonymous! The "Search" box is your friend! Avery's search engine is so user-friendly, you can type in almost anything relating the products you're looking for (or expect to find on their website) and 9.5-out of 10 times, you'll be re-directed to a page that houses multiple options for your search criteria. You can simple enter "labels" and you'll find the choices are unlimited! You can even get specific, like typing in something like: "labels, 3x5" (if that's what you're looking for) and guess what you'll get? Choices & options of items that include those dimensions! Hope this helps!

The label sizes can be found in the Avery Wizard when you open your Word document.
There are templates for nearly all size labels Avery makes.
I did have to make a few minor adjustment in the set up to get the proper print but they are there.
Just a hint: Print out the first set on plain paper to see where they will line-up on the finished label before you print to the labels.

On the avery website you look under tempelates and then click on labels on the left side. Every avery package comes with a Avery No. You can enter that paticular no in the search box for a quick find. I personally use 5160. In the avery website on the left side click on design and print online, you can then click on labels or enter the label no from the box. Customer service is helpful to show you how to merge your address list. It is simple to follow. I choose a new design each week to keep it exciting for myself.

Under Quick Links on the left hand coner of the Avery webpage, you will find that all labels are organized by category. When you select the type of label that you are interested in (ex: shipping, mailing, ...) it will give you a list of all the label in that category with the size of the label right on it. Simply look through the labels and select the size you want. That easy:)

I cheat, and find out the specs by using my labels tab on the tools menu in Microsoft works. When you click on that, it offers avery label sizes and when you click, it will show you a layout with the size specs. It is also identified by customary use. It also offers a lot of specialty items like business cards, tent cards, post cards. It offers a lot of information on what you are looking for, so when you go to Avery's website, you can go looking for a specific product description and number.

I don't think you're going to find a label list according to size. Avery's labels are organized by type, then sized within each type. The closest you're going to get is at http://www.avery.com/avery/en_us/Search/_/?dimsearch=true&N=0&Ntk=All&Ntx=mode+matchall&Nty=0&Nr=AND%28SITESCHANNELS%3AAvery.com%29&Ntt=sizes&x=10&y=12. It would be far easier to know what type of label one wants first, then choose the size, though Avery probably could satisfy some by including a page that organizes their label products by size.

Size is just one feature you need to know when choosing a label. Will they go through a printer? Avery makes labels specifically for inkjet, laser, dot-matrix and specialty label printers. Some labels are made just to be written on by hand. There are colored labels, glossy or matte surface, re-positionable and piggyback labels. Click on the "products" button from the blue bar at the top of each page, choose "labels". The various categories will be displayed. Once you've narrowed the selection down to the type of label you need, you will see all of the various sizes available for that label.
Avery Design Pro 5 is free software you can download from this site. It can easily list sizes for various categories of Avery products, and is an awesome tool when you are ready to design and print.

If you do a product search for "Labels" in the menu bar at the top of the home page, you will be brought to the 'Labels' page.

On the left hand side, there is a list of label categories (Address, Shipping, etc.). If you click on one of the categories, it will bring up a new page, and a new list of categories.

At the bottom of the list (but not the bottom of the page), there is an option for "More Refinements."

Clicking this link will bring up an further breakdown of categories, one of which will be "Dimensions."

This will show the most common sizes of the label in question, but should you need further options, you can click "More..."

Okay, so it IS a little complicated and I really don't like their current search abilities (includes sort by: Name A-Z, Name Z-A, Top-Rated and Newest) AND I really suggest that they add a search that would allow you to search by size BUT, I do have an interim solution.
1. Go to www.avery.com
2. In the "Search" box at the upper right corner, key "Labels" and press <Enter>
3. In the screen that appears look in the lefthand panel/window (towards the top) and find "Templates" and click on it.
4. In the screen that appears look (again) in the lefthand panel/window (towards the middle) and find "Number Per Sheet." This is a list (with links) to labels based on how many labels there are on a standard sheet (mostly 8 1/2" by 11" standard copy/printer paper but sometimes smaller). The key to remember is that, in general, more labels per sheet means smaller labels AND less labels per sheet means larger labels.

For example: a) Regular Address Labels typically have 30 to 50 (max) labels per page. b) Standard (small to medium box or large packet) labels typically have 4 to 20 (max) labels per page. c) Notebook Divider Labels typically have 40-80 labels per page...you get the idea. Once you narrow it down to what type of label you want, you only have to search the category for THAT size label. Piece of cake!

Would inkjet or laser labels be more appropriate for use in a color copier?

I'd like to print 1"x4" labels in a color copier, but that size is only available for laser and inkjet printers, not for copiers. Would either of those types work in a color copier?

Both types of labels would work and can be used in a color copier without a problem. A color copier prints, inkjet printer, and laser printer perform differently. Inkjet printers usually need a moment or so for the ink to dry, laser printer, a laser printer doesn't use ink but toner which is similar to what a color copier uses. Even though a laser printer and a color copier have some similarities it is still alright to use labels designed for a inkjet in a color copier or labels designed for a laser jet. There really should not be any major difference.

An inkjet printer is any printer that places extremely small droplets of ink onto paper to create an image same principle for laser printer (just using thin layer of the toner). Therefore you can use inkjet or laser labels for color printer.

I'm not sure from your question if the problem you are having is with the size of the paper or quality of text that prints out. Reflecting on our office, a copier is also a printer. A laser printer. So the appropriate paper to use is laser paper. Laser and inkject papers differ, by the way. If the size of the label you are printing isn't an 8x11.5 sheet, then, from Word 2007, you can save it as a PDF, and print from the PDF.

Laser labels are more appropriate in a color copier, for the basic reason that to print text and images both laser printers and copy machines use toner (a powdery medium) and heat , rather than the water-based ink (liquid) that ink jet printers use to produce images.

Based on the different printing processes, inkjet printer paper is coated/textured to let the ink dry faster and to reduce smudging and mixing of colors. Alternatively, laser printer paper is smoother and manufactured to prevent jamming and curling, issues that are more common to copy machines (as opposed to inkjet printers) that produce higher volume prints at a faster rate and have more complex/longer paths the paper must pass through during the printing process.

I have used labels in copiers, but that was some time ago as I most often print from my printer. My initial thought is that you may have to consider the heat generated by the copier. If that is relevant, then I might assume I would try the labels for a laser copier first. But it is possible that either might work. Obviously, I would try only one sheet initially so as not to waste multiple pages.

Your questions seems a little unclear to me but I will answer to the best of my ability:

You can use labels in a copier but you need to make sure the labels are faced up or down appropriately so they print on the label (correct) side. You can print the labels, whatever size you need, out on a regular sheet of paper in color using a color laser or inkjet printer, then you would take that sheet to the copier and after placing your labels in the tray you can copy that sheet on your color copier and it will print out onto the labels. But like I said you should test one first to make sure you have your labels in the copier tray faced the correct way so they print on the label side.

Hope this helps.

The type of label stock you choose should be based on your machine. If you dont know your equipment, check to see if it uses toner (dry powder) or ink (liquid in a cartridge). If it uses toner, you should use laser labels. Inkjet labels aren't designed to withstand the heat that is applied with a toner-based machine.

They both work, most color copiers are inkjets.
The laser printers have a more defined and better quality print. They do make laser color printers/copiers but they are pricey. The inkjet printers use an ink spray and takes a little longer to dry.
The labels are made for certain types of printer; inkjets have an absorbent ingredient to help it dry faster. Hope this helped.

Laser printer labels work beautifully in color copiers. Make sure that you put them in the tray just before using and remove them as soon as you have finished your copying job. The reason for this is to avoid overheating them in the photocopying machine and of course, to make sure you remember to clear the tray of labelled paper before the next person comes along. I hope this answer has been of use to you. Happy Copying!

Check the specifications of your copier and see if the machine will tolerate the labels. If the manual is not available or does not address the issue, the manufacturer may have the information available online. Most copiers generate heat to afix the image to the paper. If the copier uses toner cartridges and heat, the laser labels may produce the desired result. If the copier uses ink cartridges, the ink jet labels may be the way to go.

You would definitely want to stick with laser labels when using a photocopier. Copiers, especially ones that receive heavy use, will become overheated and can jam paper that's not appropriate (have you ever tried to make transparencies in the photocopier? The wrong type can cause serious damage!). Since laser labels are designed to withstand higher temperatures than inkjet, it only makes sense.

Generally, if you’re using a commercial, network copier, you are more likely to use laser technology, thus warrants using laser labels. If the job is to be produced from a personal, stand alone copier (such as the Lexmark copier, scanner, printer all-in-one), inkjet labels should work just fine.

First of all, did you know that Avery makes labels specifically for copiers? Go to www.avery.com and search for labels, furrther refining your search by selecting "copiers". If the sizes of copier labels does not meet your needs, I would use laser labels because I believe that a color copier uses the same technology as a color printer.

Most color copiers utilize fusible toner technology, which is the same technology as laser printers. So, the best label type of labels to use are the ones made for laser printing because the adhesive can take the heat generated by the toner fusing process without peeling off in the machine and jamming it. That said, there are some color copiers that use inkjet printing. If there is nobody who can answer this question for you, then the manual that comes with the copier will likely explain which type of print engine it uses. Failing that, open the unit up and see if it contains something that looks like toner cartridges or if it contains an inkjet cartridge. if that doesn't work for you, then make a test copy on regular paper and wait for it to come out. Immediately after it prints, feel it to see if it is dry and warm or cool and somewhat damp feeling. Dry and warm indicates laser technology inside, and you should use the laser labels.

Both inkjet and laser labels will work, but be very careful that you use very flat new sheets. If any of the labels start to peel off inside the machine during the copy project and adhere to the insides of the copier you could possibly have a huge mess on your hands (unfortunately, I learned this from experience.)

Inkjet or laser labels can be used in laser and inkjet printers efficiently. The likelihood of jamming a color copier in trying to use inkjet and laser labels is too great. I have used either one in the past, although I agree with the posters who reasoned that laser labels might be built to withstand higher temperatures. If your copier is under a service contract or still under warranty, check their manual, or even call your service tech and ask. And then be exquisitely careful about following the copier's instructions about whether to put the labels in face up or face down. If labels peel off inside a copier, it creates an expensive mess.

The full sheet Avery labels, 5165, 5265, 8165, 8255, 8465, would do wonderfully in copiers. Just print off a few cut guides for the individual labels and then print your labels at 1x4 per your guide on the full sheet labels and print. You then would have your guide to cut them correctly. I used to do this all the time when I owned my business. You have to be careful with some labels in a copier, even those that say they are for copiers, as they will at times catch and peel off inside causing a paper jam. The humidity at the time plays a big part in that. My husband is a copier repairman so I get a lot of good advise from him. :o)

This is easy. Go to Avery DesignPro. If you don't have it, then get it. Links are listed at end..
I use Avery DesignPro for Mac all the time. Use Avery 5444 template for 2 x 4 labels.
I generally choose "blank" design.
First, decide if you want all the labels the same. If so, click the "All Same" option in the top menu bar.

Notice the first label is highlighted in the thumbnail preview on the left panel.
Complete the first label the way you want it. If all labels are the same, click "File, Print" and you are done.
All the labels will print out the same.

If you want different labels, click the next available 2 x 4 thumbnail preview label on the left panel.
Complete the second label to look the way you want it. Done.

This works for all the Avery label templates. Happy designing with Avery labels and templates.

I downloaded the Avery Wizard on my computer, or you can just use the template button on the Avery website. Find the number of your label (mine is 8163) and from there you can start and design your label. When you are finished all you have to do is add the paper to your printer and print. Make sure you put the paper in the right way so that you do not print on the back. That's it, simple and easy. I hope this helped.

You'll need to download the Avery Wizard and it will be a part of the toolbar on you Microsoft Office Word. I am not currently a MAC user, but I am sure it's adaptable for that system as well.
You'll be able to print a number of different labels, business cards, dividers, etc. It will make your life easier because it's so user-friendly. All you have to do is purchase the correct product and you are good to go.
Have fun with it!

Download a template from Avery...The website is very long, so it is best to search for "Avery wine bottle labels." After that, of course just put the labels in your printer and go. Beautiful templates and they make great gifts.

Not sure precisely what you're asking or having trouble with. If you are talking about labels similar to model 2163, you just adjust/slide the printer's feed guide to fit the label sheet's 4 1/4" width. Then from your Programs list off your computer's Start button, find your Avery Dennison program, probably DesignPro, select "Design from Scratch", then choose the label model from Avery Dennison's list and type in the shipping address on the label field. I assume you've downloaded the necessary software from Avery? If not, click on the blue "Templates & Software" tab above and get it.

What I do in WORD is to follow the following steps to create a full blank page.
1. Go to Create labels
2. Click on Options and select 8163 click OK
3. Click on new document. This will bring a blank full page of the labels to your screen.
4. Save the document as "blank 2" X 4" Labels" or what ever you want to call it.
Then I can print out any mailing label I want in any location on the page depending on where I have blank lables left over on my sheet. After I print the label(s) I want Idon't save the document so I can use it again and again.

Assuming that you need to print just one (1) label, here are the steps to take from WORD.
1. Go to the main menu bar and click on "TOOLS"
2. Highlight "Letters and Mailings" then click on "Envelopes and Labels" on the short menu
3. A Window will open with two tabs - "Envelopes" and "Labels"; click on "Labels"
4. On the right side of the window is a short menu - Print / New Document / Cancel / Options /E-postage Properties
Click on "Options"
5. A "Label Options" window will open with 3 little open windows. Look for the one with the header "Product number"
6. Scroll down until you locate "8463 - Shipping Label" (product number for the 2x4" shipping label)
When you click on this selection, you will see the label specs/description just to the right
7. Click "OK" on the bottom of the Label Options window. This should take you back to "Envelopes and Labels"
window
8. Click the circle next to "Single Label" then indicate the row number and column number of the label
that is to be printed
9. Type in your addressee information in the open window where the header reads "Address"
10. Load the blank sheet of labels in your printer and click on the "Print" button to print your shipping label

Down load the Avery Wizard fo Windows, or just down load or create your own templates. See Templates below:

Avery's "How to Use Templates" detailed description and tutorial:
How to Use Templates:
We have created templates to help you format your Avery products using Microsoft® Word, Adobe® Illustrator®, Adobe® InDesign® and Adobe® Photoshop.
If you do not have any of these programs, use Avery Design & Print Online.
After you download your Avery template, be sure to remember where you saved the file on your computer and the file name.
Open Microsoft® Word or an Adobe® program for your template and select File > Open to navigate to the drive and folder to open your template.
Use the program’s formatting and printing features to edit and save your template.
Tip: For Microsoft® Word users – If the template looks like a blank page, select Table > Show Gridlines to view the template layout. For detailed instructions on Microsoft® Word templates, click here.

The way I have made more than one page of labels is in Microsoft Word. I download the Avery template, and for me it opens into Microsoft Word, I highlight and copy the entire shape of the template then enter down to a new page and paste the template on the new page. You can do this multiple times, and each page can be a different label if you want. You just fill in the information you want for each page of labels. You can type out just one label, then copy that information and paste in all the other label spaces. Also you can save the blank template as is, and when you make the labels you want, save them as a new file so you will always have the blank label template to use again and again.

If you take the label template you download and "save as" your own named file, then you can "select all", and "copy". Then move your curser to the very end of your original label page and "paste". It should format a second page just like the first one and you can make as many pages as you wold like. It is best to do this before you start typing spcific individual informationon all of the labels, but if you do it later, it still works, you just have to type over existing datat instead of blank. Hope this helps.

Microsoft Word will only allow you to create one page of labels at a time (the exception: if you're doing a mail merge that contains lots of data). My best option would be to go to the bottom of the page and click your mouse in the last label box in the row, then click tab and will push you to the next page with the ability to start new labels. If you keep hitting tab enough times, new rows will be created. You can also copy the original label page you have created and copy it into a new page after the original label page.

I guess it depends on the software you use. We use Wordperfect 11 in our office and we can continue to print as many labels as we have clients on our data base, they just fill out labels for the number of pages necessary to complete the label database. Then we simply print out the lables. Works like a charm.

1. It is usually a "printer" setting. Either you have to set the amount of pages OR
2. Look to the left side and you will see "Begin with label #) <--- wants to know, of the 30 labels on a sheet, which one do you want the printer to start printing on)..usually with number 1 and them is should say, How many. At this point the number of labels depends on the number of blank labels on each sheet (ie..30 labels on your sheet..you should set (for one sheet) Start: #1....number to print 30. That's one whole sheet. SO, if you want 3 sheets to print, you would say, Start #1...number to print would be 90 (which is 3 sheets of 30 labels)...hope that helps! JK

I believe this would be a feature in your printer set up. Most printers have a selection for things like color vs black & white, double sided printing, how many copies. If you are using Microsoft Office, instead of clicking on auto print, click on the circular "office" button to get the drop down, click on printer and it will bring you to a screen with all of these options (and more).

Most printer software allows you to specify how many copies of the page to print. This is great if you want many copies of the same label, such as your own return address or any address you use frequently.

If you are trying to create several sheets from an address list (all the names from your Christmas card list, for example) you should take the time to learn how to use your word processor's mail merge feature. I've used the mail merge in Microsoft Word to generate the address labels for mailing out a monthly church newsletter to well over 200 people, this was 6 plus sheets of address labels, and all I had to do was update the original list when there was an address change, or people are added or subtracted, etc., and the mail merge feature takes care of it. You can also select only some of the addresses in your list for more limited mail-outs. I'm sure all major word processing software has this feature, I know it is in both Word and Open Office, I can't imagine that it is not in Word Perfect.

There is one listed on the website...www.avery.com. Search (round label) and then look for the one that says "20 per sheet". It doesn't specify the diameter but it should work for you given the info you have provided above. AVERY 8293.

I had that issues a few months ago when planning my wedding. What I did was order the Avery Label #8165 for ink jet printers. Once I printed sheets, I used a 2" punch to create the circles. I had to align the cirlce punch with the graphic. It was actually a quick, easy solution to making a label!

You can use the Avery #3113 sticker label 2.5 x 2.5 and downsize to 2 x 2. Use the WORD Publisher templates.

If you can work your logo into a 1 1/2" diameter, you can use Avery #8293 Color InkJet Labels, they work great. You get 20 labels per sheet (20 sheets). Download the Avery template for Microsoft WORD.

You can go into MS Word, if you have it, type the name, (return)address, (return), City, State & Zip and then highlight your 3-line address. Go to "Mailings", Labels, and when you get to Labels, hit options, and on the list of labels listed, pick your #18660. Once back at the label screen, there will be two choices - whole sheet, or single label. Pick single label and pick the row and column you have available on your label sheet. If you're using Microsoft Word, the Envelopes and Labels format has a dialog box where in the bottom part of it you can select either "full page of the same label" or "single label." When you select "single label," you then have to select the row and column numbers of the label you wish to use. Then you just type in what you want to print and hit the print button.

The other option is to create a new document with the label template and place the label in the block you want and just print that out. It should only print it on that one label.

Hope this helps!

You would have to delete information from the other label spaces you want blank so that the printer 'thinks' it is printing the page correctly. It is in effect printing the other labels too, they just have nothing specified on them. I would make very certain you know exactly how to place the label in the printer for the right orientation and line up, though, so you can add info to subsequent labels and send the same page back through the printer to make use of the remaining labels. In this case, be sure to delete the info you already printed so it won't print onto the backing of the now empty space.
Hope it helps.

You didn't say from what software you are printing. I use Avery's free DesignPro software and from that, you'd only need to select Print and the choose "How many copies" in the "Number of Copies" section in the Print Dialog box. The number you enter in the Copies field will be the number of labels printed on the sheet. The start at a position on the sheet other than position one, enter the starting position with the Options button on the Print dialog.

This is not a label issue, it's an issue in Microsoft Word. If you only want to print one label on a sheet, then you need to input information for that one label in the appropriate label box (as shown your screen) and make sure that none of the other label boxes are populated with data. Then, you will be able to print just one label and re-use the label page for future printing.

In Word, select the label option under mail merge. Make sure you have the right label selected and click on the "New Document" button at the bottom of the "Envelopes and Labels" menu box. Save the new document as "Label18660" and you can use this to print up individual labels anywhere on the sheet. Keep in mind that Avery discourages repeated runs through the printer as a label could jam up the printer but I've never had a problem.

If you need labels for SHU's approximately 15/16 x 1 1/4", you might want to consider Avery product number 5960, whic is 1" x 2.63." The 1 inch sixe should cover you with a little room to spare in the 15/16" side and with 2.63" you have more than enough to cover your 1 1/4" side. You might also consider one of the 4" aAvery labels that will fit your need if you are willing to cut them in half once you have produced your SKU Numbers. Just some food for thought.. GAFMiami

The closest Avery Product for sheet fed printers is item #5027 and is 15/16 x. 3 /7/16 and 450 to the pack. It's actually extra large white file folder labels. You can modified your word template (or other document) to print within the space you need and use paper cutter to trim down in bulk. Another alternative is item #5026. Same dimensions but comes in assorted colors that may be useful for color coding your SKUs.

I can get you pretty close! My two suggestions (usually for labeling file tab dividers) are, as follows:
1. Avery Index Maker Labels 8-tab. Gets you 4 rows of 20 (80 total) clear labels measuring approximately 1.25" by 0.5". The product number used to be IFS0251 but it may have changed by now.
2. Avery Index Maker Labels 5-tab. Gets you 10 rows of 5 (50 total) clear labels measuring approximately 1 5/8" by 15/16". I don't remember the exact product number but these are easy to find on this website.
Both of these are also available in white formats instead of clear. I prefer the clear labels since you can place them on any color background and they blend in. If you want them to stand out more I would print them on the solid white labels. Good luck to you! You are definitely in the right place to be looking.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for but Avery lable # 5199 gave you labels for the face and the spine of a VHS tape but the measurements are as follows:
face: 1 -5/6" x 3-1/16"
spine: 2/3" x 5-13/16"

This is far off from 12" x 6" that you mentioned

The labels I use for the spine on my VHS tapes is the 5199 series. You can find the labels for the face information on your tape itself as well as the longer labels for the spine ( I use them on the tape itself as well as the outside cover, that way if they are not put away correctly you still now what it is). The spine labels are 5 13/16 X 2/3 and fit perfectly. Check out th 5199 series and you should have just what you need. You will get 300 face labels and 300 spine labels for a very affordable price.

Avery labels for VHS are easy to use as well. The template can be downloaded and allows for a label for the side as well as the top of the VHS tape. You can include a description of the tape on the binder long edge and then more detailed information on the label for the wider flat portion of the tape. I have even put our logo on the tape.

Avery 8165 is a smudge-free whole page label that has many uses and can be cut any way you like. One of the many things I use it for is to print and cut out our company's initials, each on a full sheet, and stick each one on a separate mylar balloon to mark our booth at trade shows.

Yes. Avery makes a full sheet label. If you didn't want to hand cut a label, some scrapbooking stores have cricut machines and templates of shapes that are available to customers for use.

Yes, they do make a full adhesive sheet, love them. I have used them for many craft projects such as, printing full pages to cover a whole page or printed different pictures and clip art, then placed them on book covers, mixed media art work.
Used them for creating an online Postal mailing label to mail packages.

Avery #8165 Full size Inkjet labels. Come in pack of 25. I use for crafts. I use with my Provo Craft Cricut to make personalized craft items. I design the full size label either with pattern/design or text depending on what I am making then I cut out special designs or lettering with my Cricut. End result is a personalized sticker or scrapbooking embellishment. Makes fantastic gifts and fun stickers for my Sunday School class.
