Try using the clipping option. Click on the printer icon and choose options. Tic the box for clipping and then select option - try using at least .125" or .25" This should help.

I followed the procedures of both answers and they did not help. I will try uninstalling and re-installing again to see whether I have better luck on the second go round.

When I installed Avery Wizard on my Windows 7 machine using Office 2010 I found that it is in the "add ons" toolbar in Word. So open you word and look for that toolbar and click on the Avery icon. If that doesn't work, you may have to uninstall the Wizard and re-install using custom install and be sure that you understand what all is being installed.
Something must have locked up during the install, because I know I have run the Wizard from my desktop as well as from inside Office products.

Yes...open MS Word and there should be a tab at the end of the ribbon that says AVERY. ALl you do is click on it and you will have Avery opened.
If you want to install Avery Design Pro and not have to use it within WORD, then install the regular program from the website. I think you installed AVERY FOR MS WORD and with that program you HAVE to open it within MS Word.

Avery templates are built into hundreds of software programs, including Microsoft® Word, Microsoft® Publisher, Microsoft® Works, Microsoft® Access, Corel® WordPerfect®, The Print Shop, PrintMaster and more. To find the built-in Avery templates, refer to your program's Help files to search on Avery or labels. Avery design software Design Pro for Mac can be downloaded for free from http://www.avery.com/avery/en_us/Te.... Please make sure your computer meets the system requirements. Also, try Avery Design & Print Online which doesn't require any downloads.

Are Avery 48863 white shipping labels archival safe?

I have a tremor in my hands which makes writing very difficult, so I am using Avery 48863 white shipping labels to type info about the people in the picture and placing on the back of my photos. Are the white shipping labels archival safe? I am wondering if, after time, the white shipping labels will damage my photos.

Pictures and logos can be added to address labels to give them a personalized touch. If on Word, and Avery Wizard select Insert and choose from a saved file on your machine. On Avery Design & Print Online, from the Enhanced Editing option click on Add Image, then from file and select the picture that you would like to insert. To create a sheet of the same labels select 'Create a sheet of identical layouts' when using Avery Wizard and select 'Full page of same label' when using the Word templates. If using Design & Print Online, select the Quick & Simple option. Insert the text on one of the labels and it will automatically replicate itself on the remaining labels. Changes to individual labels or whole sheet can be made after creating the first label by adding or deleting text and images.

Question

How do I quickly and easily add a postnet bar code to an address label with DesignPro 5?

I am a LONGTIME Avery LabelPro user and find DesignPro much more difficult to use, although it has many improvements. In particular, it is very simple and straightforward to add a postnet bar code to a label in LabelPro. I have not yet been able to figure out how to do that in DesignPro. When i add a bar code and change the option to Postnet, I get an error message "incorrect bar code parameters." I have some other major issues with DesignPro, but I'll settle for an answer to THIS problem now. Thanks.

As I mentioned, I select the add a bar code option, then select Postnet, then I receive the error message "incorrect bar code parameters," but there is no explanation of what the error is nor what parameters need to be or should look like. I'm not sure if the bar code isn't associating with the nine-digit ZIP code or if the size of the bar code is incorrect or if it is some other detail I haven't thought of. With LabelPro all I had to do was select bar code in the properties dialog box. That isn't available in DesignPro.

If you are using Avery Wizard to format these Index Maker Clear Label Dividers, use the Tab key to move to the next row of labels.

With the Wizard you can either tab to the next row or use your mouse to click on the next cell in your preview. This also comes in handy when you have used label on the sheet and need to use the next one available.

I know that Avery has Wizard for Mac. This will work with your wordprocessor. It allows you to choose your label and customize them the way you want. As you step through the set up and select merge from a an existing data file, then it allows you to choose the data file. If you have your data already set up in a spreadsheet format or a database, it will then open a merge process. I have used this method with a spreadsheet that I set up in excel and it has worked great.

Exporting contact information from spreadsheet software has never been easier. Create professional mailing address by using the Mail Merge feature available through Avery Design & Print online at www.Avery.com/Print. Use a blank or pre-designed template for your favorite Avery Address Label product and complete the project in minutes. For additional information on using Avery Design & Print Online take a look at this software demo http://www.avery.com/avery/en_us/De....

Are you talking about working a Mail Merge file onto labels? If that is the case you would open Microsoft Word, depending on your version of Office Word, you would located mail merge, choose your label and your system would walk you through the process. You cannot "Download" onto labels. You would perform a Mail Merge attaching your database of information to the label you choose and then print.
